FAQ's

* Ordering
We request that you place your order no less than 14 business days before the event.  
Please keep in mind all the stages that production needs to go through (designing,
proofing, printing, wrapping, and shipping) and plan accordingly.  If you wish to pay by check,
please add another 10 days to your order to allow it to clear.  Printing will not start until the
check has cleared.
Short notice may be considered depending on the design and order, but only with prior
approval.  You may contact us through email for further information.

* Delivery Charge
There is no charge for delivery unless you are beyond a 10 mile traveling distance, then a
minimal fee will be added due to the high cost of gas.

* Shipping Charge
You are responsible for the cost of shipping.  There is no handling charge.

* Email Samples
We require customers to check their wrapper "proof" before printing.  Since you are most
familiar with the information, we need to rely on you to find any spelling errors.  We can
email you a sample proof, or meet with you in person if you are local.  We can also send
your proof through the mail if you prefer and if time permits.
Due to everyone having a different resolution and color on their monitor, the email sample
may be slightly different than the actual proof and design.  This may be a slight variation of
color tone.

* Refunds
  • Because personalized items are unique to you and to you alone, if your order has
    already been printed, then we are sorry but we can't make any refunds.
  • If you cancel your order before we've actually started printing, you will receive a 90%
    refund, less 10% to cover our expense for preparing and designing.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Please preview and check your proof carefully.  We will replace wrappers if misprints
    are due to our error only, at no cost to you.  Due to personalization of this business,
    your approval is our "OK" to proceed with the order.
  • If your order has not been printed, changes can be made at no cost.  If printing has
    started, a minimal fee will be charged to reprint your order.

* Custom Designs
Most of our designs are pre-made, however, custom work is always welcomed.  Please be
aware that if you choose this option, your order will take longer to complete.  So if you need a
custom design, please add extra time before your delivery date to make sure we can come
up with a design that will be everything that you imagine.

* Photos & Logos
You may add your own photo to your wrapper.  You can email a digital image, please be
sure it is in .jpg format and at least 300 dpi.  
PLEASE NOTE:  It is your responsibility to get
permission from the photographer if your photo was done professionally before it can be
used on a wrapper.
If you have a business and would like to use your company logo, we can do that too.  
However, we will need signed permission by the copyright owner prior to using it.  We are
very sorry, but we are unable to use characters or logos that are copyrighted without written
permission.
Due to trademark and copyright laws, images that we absolutely can
NOT use include
anything by Disney, Barbie, Dora, Sesame Street, SpongeBob, Blues Clues, Precious
Moments, etc.  We
CAN find you something that fits the theme, we just can't use the actual
images of the characters.  They are copyrighted.  Thank you for understanding.  We do have
faux wrappers available as examples that fit the color and character theme, but are not an
exact duplicate of the character itself.  Check them out in our Children's section.

* Handling Candy
All candy is kept in its original wrapper.  We enclose the original wrapper with our design, in
keeping with the
Allowed Use Policy by Hershey's.  You will tell us what type of candy you
wish to use for your event.  We will get that type of candy and will not substitute anything
without informing you first (and only if we cannot locate the type you want).  Because of
Health & Safety issues, candy that has been handled by the customer cannot be returned
and restocked.  
NO exceptions and we hope you understand.

* Wrappers Only
During the hot summer months it is "not advisable" to ship chocolate in the mail.  We can
ship the chocolate by adding ice cells during the shipment and adding an additional fee to
the shipping total.  However, you can order the wrappers only.  You will get the wrappers and
instructions on how to wrap them, and you can purchase the candy yourself, locally.  Please
keep in mind if you are ordering wrappers only, the work involved to cut and attach the
wrapper and whether that is something you want to do.

* Types Of Printing
You can choose between laser color (almost waterproof) or rich color ink jet (not waterproof
but can be laminated or come in clear cello bag).  Laser printing won't run, but ink jet will
unless laminated.

* Paper Type
High-quality paper with a soft gloss is most popular.  It gives a lustrous sheen to the
wrappers.  Card stock is used for mint-books, and other items, such as gable boxes, and
"envelopes" for your bars.

* Old Style vs. New Style
Hershey's changed their style of wrapper to the new temper-proof, sealed kind.  A lot of
people prefer the old style with the silver ends showing.  We can create a look with different
colors of foil to compliment your wrapper.  The new style wraps are longer and have
crimped and scalloped edges.  You can also order "wraparounds" which resemble your bar
wrapped in an envelope style.  You can order whichever style you prefer.
